Accessibility and connection
The site is well connected to the village, which itself is well-served by good road links and proximity to good public transport services, with bus stops along the site frontage on Watford Road.
Our proposals will ensure the village is connected to Elstree high street. The scheme is an open, non-gated development, with good pedestrian access.
Access
Vehicular access will be provided at two locations on the southern boundary to Watford Road. Both access roads will facilitate both entry and exit to the scheme.
Refuse storage and servicing
Bins for domestic waste will be within close range of all residents. The number of bins provided will be based on facilitating a weekly collection cycle.
RVG operatives will collect residents’ waste from communal bin stores and transport it to the main collection store located towards the east of the site.
