The team at RVG, like most people, care deeply about the environment and its habitats. That is why we are pleased to be supporting the Trustees of Cecil’s Horse Sanctuary, who have been seeking more sustainable grazing for their growing herd of abandoned and rescued ponies and horses for several years. 

Working with the Trustees of the charity, RVG hopes to help identify and secure a new, significantly larger plot of land in Hertfordshire which will help the team at Cecil’s meet the needs of their horses for years to come. The criteria for such a site are set out by the charity on its website.

The team at Cecil’s does a great job in caring for unwanted and abandoned equines and the RVG team wishes to see this valued organisation flourish. While we do have plans develop the site in Elstree, we also look forward to continuing to support the Trustees and their volunteers in their work to ensure the welfare of their horses.
